Project: BRAND IDENTITY
In 2023, ANY OTHER NAME was appointed to undertake a comprehensive brand identity for Budapest-based fashion house, NANUSHKA. We worked closely with the team to redefine their strategy and vision. Leaning into Hungarian heritage, craft, and a modern bohemian outlook, we established a distinctive visual language that fully expresses the brand's unique spirit.

Leveraging Nanushka’s rich influence of Hungarian tradition, and innovative approach to materiality and construction, we emphasised the signature brand motifs of craft and geometry to inform a holistic expression for Nanushka; from its bespoke wordmark and comprehensive packaging suite, to more subtle brand signifiers which have been thoughtfully integrated into product and hardware.
The Kopjafa symbols, embodying the character and spiritual essence that defines Nanushka, are inspired by the traditional Hungarian Kopjafa with its geometric patterns and carved motifs. These six symbols, designed to be reinterpreted with versatility in application and materiality, create a secondary, playful language for the brand.
Nanushka’s Fall/Winter 2023 Campaign, ‘Sun Journey’ takes us on an evocative, sun-soaked, coastal cruise lensed by Dudi Hasson. For the FW23 collection, Nanushka’s modern traveler aesthetic lends a nomadic flair to the enduring theme of new heritage and interwoven folk influences.
